Islwyn High in Caerphilly is an ambitious project to amalgamate two former schools in a new purpose-built development. Rockfon acoustic ceiling solutions are installed throughout the school to control noise and harmonise with the contemporary interior.

The Queensmill School in London is an award-winning education provider for children with autistic spectrum disorders from nursery age to 19 years. Rockfon Sonar X edge ceiling tiles were chosen to satisfy the school’s specific acoustic and aesthetic requirements.
The Deep End Activity Centre at Rawlins Academy opened this year to huge acclaim. The former swimming pool has been converted into a multi-use fitness studio and activity space to be enjoyed by students and the public. Acoustic ceiling solutions for work, rest and play
Rockfon ceiling solutions were installed to help create the ideal conditions for learning and enhance the architect’s contemporary design. Rockfon ceiling systems were selected for Skibbereen because they either met or exceeded the acoustic requirements specified by the Department of Education. Fire safety was also an important factor and Rockfon products provide Class A1 fire resistance, the safest fire classification.
Set in a picturesque village in County Clare, St Joseph’s Secondary School is a new state-of-the art learning facility created as part of an ambitious multi-million Schools Bundle PPP Programme - Bundle 4 Project. Rockfon ceiling solutions were installed to help create the ideal conditions for learning and enhance the architect’s contemporary design.
The hospital’s Vascular Services Department has been redeveloped to provide additional patient accommodation and services including a new Angiography Treatment Suite with a technically advanced Hybrid Theatre. 2,000m² Rockfon MediCare ceilings were installed throughout to meet the demanding specification requirements which included acoustic control, fire protection and hygiene.
Morriston hospital in Swansea has undergone a massive £102M redevelopment as part of an ambitious plan to re-shape the way hospital services are delivered in South West Wales. Rockfon ceiling solutions are installed throughout the hospital including in the impressive main atrium in the Outpatients’ building.
The hospital is fitted with Rockfon MediCare Standard and MediCare Plus throughout. MediCare fulfils the essential cleaning and hygienic demands of healthcare environments and complies with the Department of Health’s HBN and HTM guidelines. MediCare ceilings do not contribute to the growth of MRSA. They have a low particle emission and have achieved Clean Room Classification ISO Class 4 for MediCare Plus and ISO Class 5 for MediCare Standard.
